KNDS and GD-OTS Build a Stronger Ammunition Ecosystem for the Future

KNDS and GD OTS Strengthen Cooperation in Ammunition KNDS and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD OTS) are strengthening their cooperation in the field of ammunition to support evolving operational requirements and reinforce industrial capabilities on both sides of the Atlantic.

Building on KNDS’ long-standing expertise in artillery systems and ammunition, the collaboration aims to support the modernization of North American artillery capabilities, particularly through the expansion of 52-caliber ammunition production capacity. By leveraging a localization approach, the partnership will contribute to strengthening security of supply, increasing industrial resilience, and ensuring greater responsiveness to the needs of armed forces.

The cooperation will extend beyond artillery ammunition to include infantry and medium-caliber ammunition, creating new opportunities for industrial and commercial collaboration in both North America and Europe. Through the combination of complementary expertise, technologies, and production capabilities, KNDS and GD OTS aim to support customers with reliable, interoperable, and high-performance ammunition solutions.
