D-LBO is in our DNA: KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH at AFCEA 2026

Konstanz, 27 April 2026. KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH will be presenting its system solutions for the digitalisation of land-based operations (D-LBO) at the AFCEA Trade Exhibition 2026 (12–13 May, World Conference Center Bonn, Stand S48).

The digitalisation of land-based operations is transforming the way vehicles, forces and sensors interconnect. The German Armed Forces are driving this project forward, and KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH has been actively shaping it for years, because “D-LBO is our DNA”.

These solutions include the KommServer as the central node of D-LBO basic, as well as the Panel-PC families PALLADION and ATHENION. These optimise situational awareness in vehicles as display and control units. The EMPORION Ethernet switch complements them as a high-performance Layer 3 switch with 10-gigabit ports. The Soldier Connection Hub connects and powers soldier systems within the vehicle. Both solutions are TL A-0200 V3 compliant.

KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH is presenting STRX, a media management system, as a proof-of-concept: the prototype on display bundles different signal sources and interfaces, reducing system complexity. At the same time, KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH is inviting potential users to contribute their requirements and experiences to the system’s further development.
