KNDS and KEMHAN formalize a long-term cooperation to work on breakthrough innovations

  • KNDS is dedicating more than 15% of its revenue to R&D activities;
  • KNDS anticipates the needs of armed forces based on the evolution of threats, and presents its loitering munitions and anti-drone solutions at INDODEFENCE 25.

A workshop dedicated to breakthrough innovations

R&D activities are in the heart of KNDS strategy, in order to always provide cutting-edge solutions matching the evolving operational needs of its partners worldwide. As such, KEMHAN (BALITBANG) and KNDS have decided to collaborate on the long-term to jointly work on new research and development topics in land defence domain as well as set-up a workshop to address strategic and technological defence topics (artificial intelligence and weapons, unmanned systems and robotics, smart ammunition etc.)

KNDS is also cooperating with LEMHANNAS to build up a specific course on land defence systems.


Loitering munitions and anti-drone solutions to keep operational superiority

KNDS is introducing at INDODEFENCE 2025 exhibition its new range of loitering munitions in Indonesia. From the small tube-launched drone to a 100km range capacity loitering munition, the MATARIS range covers the whole spectrum of capabilities of loitering munitions.

KNDS commits to developing partnerships with Indonesian local manufacturers to enhance the capacities of the Indonesian armed forces.

KNDS is also proud to introduce its brand-new anti-drone solution called ARX30. It can equip a diverse range of vehicles in order to provide an anti-drone protection in a wide spectrum of situations that can match PUSSENIF (Indonesian infantry) and PUSSENKAV (Indonesian cavalry) operational needs.

KNDS’ solution can be easily integrated into Indonesian made armored vehicles.
