AFCEA Trade Show 2026: KNDS presents media management system for military signal transmission

Konstanz, 23.04.2026. At the AFCEA Trade Show 2026, KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH is presenting a media management system that efficiently and flexibly distributes various sources and interfaces across multiple workstations. At stand S48 in the World Conference Center Bonn, the Constance-based systems provider will be demonstrating the STRX prototype system from 12 to 13 May 2026.

Limitations imposed by technology

Countless technical interfaces and ever-increasing requirements are driving the use of technology. Different interfaces require complex cabling, complicate commissioning and increase susceptibility to faults. Dependencies on the operating system, high licence costs and extensive configurations further increase system complexity – a disadvantage in military applications.

Independence through technology

KNDS Deutschland Mission Electronics GmbH addresses these challenges with the STRX (Secure Tactical Routing eXchange) media management system. The system switches physical signals and converts them into an encoded format. This significantly simplifies the installation, operation and maintenance of technically complex infrastructures.
