The advancing digitalization of the armed forces and the need to protect soldiers are leading to a high degree of automation in future mission solutions. KNDS Deutschland is working on modern land system solutions to ensure that the products of the future can be operated by humans, remotely and unmanned.

From concept to design of robotic systems
The modular and interoperable design of future land systems will bring with it the redesign of vehicle formations, with unmanned and teleoperated systems being added to manned systems. Only all three capabilities will fully cover the platform concept with a high degree of interoperability. Various land and air drones are now an indispensable part of the battlefield.
KNDS Germany looks to the future from a system house perspective and understands the importance of artificial intelligence, networking and the interaction of different military systems. Manned-unmanned and unmanned-unmanned teaming approaches will help shape vehicle formations. New system concepts are being developed and evaluated to meet the mission profiles of the future.

Many different manned and unmanned vehicles, supported by UGVs and UAVs with different individual capabilities, will shape and decide the battlefield of the future. Based on the KNDS concepts and simulations, the foundations of the autonomous systems are developed.
