The MUNGO 3 – Armored GFF-1 class command and control vehicle
With a payload of up to 1,500 kg, the vehicle was designed to be used as an equipment kit carrier, radio and command vehicle, mobile command post, radar carrier as well as an ambulance.

The armored cab of the MUNGO 3 GFF 1 Large Capacity variant has a spatial volume of approx. eight cubic meters. The vehicle provides its crew with ballistic and mine protection. For information and communication, the vehicle is equipped with HF and VHF radio sets as well as a data connection to the army command and information system. Furthermore, the vehicle has a GPS-supported vehicle navigation system and an IP-capable intercommunication system, including an external telephone. An NBC protective ventilation system, air conditioning system and rear-view camera are also on hand.

The vehicle has a range of over 400 km on roads and can achieve a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It is capable of overcoming inclinations of up to 42 % and traversing hillsides with a pitch angle of up to 30 %.
The MUNGO 3 GFF 1 Large Capacity has a ground clearance of 213 mm and can drive through bodies of water at depths down to 500 mm. The crew consists of driver, passenger and – depending on mission module – several soldiers.
