FACTS ABOUT THE P20
Compare to 12.7 mm machine gun mounts, the 20mm cannon integrated on a manual pintle mount allows to arm light carriers such as 4x4 vehicles (with or without the ring mount) for fire support, neutralization, protection, self-defence and deterrent missions.
The mount uses the 20M621 gas-reloaded gun, well known for its simple operation and maintenance, firing the widely available NATO 20 x 102 standard ammunition.
The light weight and very low recoil forces of this gun enable it to be Pintle-mounted on the vehicle roof. This installation is quick, easy, requires no specific tools, and can be performed on the field.
High rate of fire
The P20 offers a high rate of fire (750 rounds per minute), allowing for sustained fire against the enemy, making it effective for close engagements or targeting moving threats.
