MASTERING THE TERRAIN
At the heart of the Scorpion programme, KNDS Mobility is responsible for the mobility of the Serval, the French Army's new multipurpose vehicle, with over 2,000 units planned in more than 30 variants by 2035.
Developed by KNDS France and KNDS Mobility to meet the French Army’s urgent re-motorisation need and modernise the VAB fleet, the Serval is a vehicle with a GVW ranging from 13 to 18 tonnes, featuring significant ballistic, anti-mine and anti-IED protection.
This next-generation mobility platform, certified by the French Army, is now accessible to international partners wishing to launch local production programmes for new armoured vehicles in collaboration with KNDS Mobility.
Under the CELERIS partnership approach, KNDS Mobility ensures the co-development of new-generation vehicles, a full transfer of technology and complete localization of NATO-codified, high-performance production. This approach has already forged strong industrial ties with Canada, Indonesia and Finland.
