Service, Logistics and Training
Sustainment as combat power
Operational effectiveness requires more than just delivering systems; it also requires ensuring their availability and reliability throughout their lifecycle. This station showcases how service, logistics, maintenance, and training are integrated directly into the mission architecture. KNDS digitally links operational units with support structures to ensure sustained readiness and preserve operational tempo, even in demanding environments.
CAESAR Loading simulator

Training
The CAESAR 6x6 FIRING BENCH allows a complete training session of the entire crew without any vehicle nor the consumption of real CAESAR ammunition. The trainees can play several firing scenarios and intensive training drills.
Key features:
- Physical scale 1 CAESAR (simplified and ergonomic representation)
- Real weight ammunitions and charges
- Collaborative crew training: coordination of 5 learners
- Drill: trainees can repeat gestures and operations in a safe environment
- Faulty mode available through the trainer workstation
MULTIBOX

System Solution
Operational readiness requires immediate access to tools and spare parts in the field. The KNDS MULTIBOX is a modular, fully deployable maintenance and logistics solution based on a standard 20’ container. Extendable side walls create additional workspace, while integrated handling and structured storage systems enable efficient operations in confined environments. Mission-configured tool or spares packages are tailored to the respective maintenance concept, ensuring high mobility, rapid response and maximum system availability. If required, the MULTIBOX can be configured to fully support autonomous ground and aerial resupply through the use of UGVs and UAVs, providing increased availability even in contested areas.
MULTIBOX is ILME-ready (Integrated Logistics Management Environment), seamlessly integrating spare parts management and repair processes into a digital logistics ecosystem.
Key features:
- Standard 20’ container, stackable and ISO-compatible
- Extendable side walls and integrated overhead crane
- Heating, air conditioning and dehumidification
- Power generator for self-sufficient operation
- Available for all KNDS Deutschland systems
Training
Equipment and programs

Modern vehicle and mission systems offer diverse capabilities that require continuous, comprehensive training. KNDS provides an integrated training eco system for all levels — from individual operators to full units — enabling effective use of advanced platforms, digital command systems and networked capabilities.
Training equipment
Simulation is a central pillar of readiness, especially for extended and distributed operations. KNDS delivers scalable, deployable solutions ranging from tabletop trainers and immersive 3D maintenance trainers to full-crew simulators, training vehicles and live-fire monitoring. High-fidelity virtual simulation forms the core of the ecosystem, providing realistic, software-identical system representations and adaptable scenarios. Complemented by comprehensive after-sales support — including service for vehicles and simulators, spare parts supply and customer training — KNDS ensures personnel and systems remain qualified, sustained and mission-ready throughout their lifecycle.
Training programs
Following a mission-solution approach, KNDS emphasizes self-sufficiency. Train-the-trainer programs equip customer instructors with technical expertise, modern teaching methods and advanced training equipment, ensuring long-term independent training and sustained readiness across the system lifecycle.
