Facts about the BOXER GTV

Ideally suited for infantry operations in any mission scenario

A maximum of mobility and protection and a remote-controllable weapon station lend the BOXER Group Transport Vehicle its great combat capability in high-intensity conflicts and ensure flexibility for future military requirements and scenarios. The Group Transport Vehicle supports highly advanced communication systems, e.g. IdZ (Infantryman of the Future) of the Bundeswehr.

The GTV provides each soldier with interfaces to update navigation and tactical information as well as power sockets to charge up personal electronics. The mission module contains cutting-edge C4I architecture for integrating the BOXER GTV variants into modern mission scenarios.

Power pack

With its MTU V8 engine generating up to 530 kW, the power pack provides the BOXER with maximum mobility in any mission scenario

Crew

The large, armoured crew compartment with an interior volume of approx. 14m³ allows for ergonomic housing of the crew and mission-specific stowage of extensive equipment for the infantry group.

Armaments

Equipped with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun or 40mm automatic grenade launcher, the remote-controllable weapon station can be controlled by the weapon operator or commander under protection.

State-of-the-art chassis

The single-wheel suspension with its long spring travel and hydraulic end stop damper minimises stress on the crew when driving both on and off the road.

Highly protected

The modern add-on protection concept and modular design, consisting of a drive module and a mission module (safety cell), offers maximum possible protection for the crew.
