The 30M781 is a 30mm automatic cannon designed for modern military applications. It is intended for implementations on armored vehicles, naval systems, or fixed installations due to its firepower and versatility.
FACTS ABOUT THE 30M781
The 30M781 MPG is the land application of the combat-proven 30M781 use on the turreted cannon of the Tigre helicopter. Firing 30x113mm NATO Standard ammunition, this electromechanical gun will fire proximity fuzed and airburst ammunitions against drones, optics or soft targets.
The reliability of this weapon is stressed by years of utilization in the French, Spanish and Australian armies. Thanks to its low weight (56kg) similar to 20mm, this cannon provides the best weight-to-firepower ratio among the other 30mm weapons.
The capability is enhanced by an outstanding compactness with a length (1.920mm) inferior to a 20mm cannon. It is also a very easy to use weapon that can fire with full efficiency up to 2.000m.
This cannon is ITAR and BAFA free.
Effective rate of fire
With an optimized firing rate of 225 rounds per minute (or 720 rounds per minute in option), the 30M781 balances precision and sustained firepower.
Versatile ammunition
The cannon fires 30×113mm NATO Standard ammunition, including high-explosive incendiary (HEI), semi-armor-piercing (SAPHEI), chrono airbust ammunition and training rounds, making it adaptable to a wide range of missions.
