The new wheeled LEGUAN generation secures a modern and optimized combat support and furthermore is perfectly suited to perform disaster relief operations.
Both the 26 m bridge and 14 m bridge set are fully qualified according to the latest TDTC requirements and additional real-life loading conditions. Providing a regular crossing capability of MLC 80 or even MLC 100, the bridges are able to support heavy forces without restrictions. Integrated load-cycle monitors thereby ensure maximum operational safety.
The newly designed, fully automated unit can launch and recover both bridge types within minutes, requiring only one operator and no preparatory work. The omnidirectional vision system allows the crew to control the entire process from the vehicle cab, by day and night.
Automation, situational awareness and the ability to adapt the cabin protection to the threat level ensure maximum crew safety. The system can be optionally equipped with a remote-controlled weapon station and a smoke grenade launcher.
Driving long distances or ranging on hard off-road terrain under difficult climatic and environment conditions – the LEGUAN TATRA 10x10 can reliably perform these tasks with ease. The unique features of the TATRA concept has been proven for almost 100 years.
Standardization – The LEGUAN TATRA 10 x 10 offers a high degree of commonality with other members of the LEGUAN family. Both on the hardware level and in terms of operating philosophy, training, etc., the concept can easily be integrated into existing logistics structures.

Five steerable axles and crab walk capability allow easy positioning of the vehicle for launching and retrieval of the bridges.
