GRIFFON
The GRIFFON is a 6x6 armored vehicle developed by the French industrial consortium composed of KNDS France, Arquus, and Thales. It is a key component of the French Army’s SCORPION modernization program.
FACTS ABOUT THE GRIFFON
An Armoured Personnnel Carrier, GRIFFON has been designed to transport an Infantry Combat Squad on any kind of combat mission whatever the area of operations.
The GRIFFON is designed for troop transport, with a capacity to carry 8 to 10 soldiers in addition to its crew. It features advanced protection against ballistic threats, mines, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Its communication and coordination capabilities are enhanced by the Scorpion Combat Information System (SICS), which integrates the vehicle into a tactical digital network.
Highly modular, the GRIFFON can be configured for various missions, including medical evacuation, logistical transport, and command post roles. With its all-terrain mobility and reliability, it is a strategic asset for operations in complex environments.
Alongside this main variant, eleven different versions are also provided in order to cover a full spectrum of missions including:
