SERVAL
The SERVAL is a 4x4 light armored vehicle, designed by KNDS France and TEXELIS as part of the SCORPION program, to meet the need to re-engineer the emergency echelon and modernize the VAB fleet. Weighing between 15 and 17 tons, it offers ballistic, mine-resistant and improvised explosive device protection. Equipped with a powerful engine and reinforced suspension, it guarantees excellent tactical mobility on all types of ground.
FACTS ABOUT THE SERVAL
The Light Multipurpose Armoured Vehicle SERVAL is the latest vehicle designed by KNDS France under specifications from the French Army and the main asset for the National Emergency Response Echelon.
It takes advantage from its high level of tactical and strategic mobility and protection to ensure that the troops embarked within will be able to accomplish their mission and redeploy quickly.
Its versatile chassis, designed by the French company TEXELIS, offers 31 variants and sub-variants covering the full range of missions and functionalities that can be encountered during an operation.
