Virtual Maintenance Training
The Virtual Maintenance Training is a virtual reality training solution. It allows the training of a maintenance operator in rare or risky maintenance or troubleshooting operations within a safe, realistic and simulated environment:
- Trainees are immersed in a virtual environment very close to reality (fixed station configuration),
- Trainees run 3D scenarios corresponding to maintenance procedures (word cards) which are selected depend on the complexity and frequency.
- The Learning Management Systels (system for managing training modules) offers two training modes: learning or assessment.

VMT CONFIGURATION - CLASSROOM
The proposed VMT configuration is a classroom with five stations (1 instructor's station and 4 trainees' stations) - Fixed station configuration (PC).
The instructor's workstation and the trainees' workstation communicate over a LAN.
The instructor's workstation hosts the LMS which contains all scenarios.
The instructor assigns scenarios to each learner to be carried out during the training session. Then, each trainee can connect to the LMS and run the VMT scenarios (in learning or assessment mode).
Once the trainee has completed the training scenario, the results are automatically sent to the LMS. The instructor can log in and monitor the progress and results to each trainee.
