KNDS to Equip Lithuania with LEGUAN Bridge Layers
Munich, le 28 janvier 2026 – Le ministère lituanien de la Défense a chargé KNDS Deutschland (KNDS) de livrer douze ponts flottants LEGUAN sur châssis LEOPARD 2. Il a été convenu contractuellement que les systèmes seraient équipés de deux ponts LEGUAN de 14 m et d'un pont LEGUAN de 26 m. De plus, un pack ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), qui comprend entre autres la formation, des outils spéciaux et des pièces de rechange, garantit la disponibilité opérationnelle des ponts LEGUAN LEOPARD 2.
Le volume total de la commande s'élève à environ 210 millions d'euros.
Le LEGUAN LEOPARD 2 offre la mobilité du char de combat LEOPARD 2 et une uniformité logistique maximale. Les ponts de 14 m et 26 m répondent aux exigences les plus élevées en matière de capacité de charge MLC 80 et offrent un potentiel d'extension supplémentaire. De jour comme de nuit, le pont peut être posé et retiré de manière automatisée depuis la cabine protégée.
À l'échelle mondiale, le système LEGUAN est déjà utilisé ou en cours d'acquisition par 22 armées sur différentes plateformes à chenilles et à roues.
