KNDS 40 CTA is a unique ammunition type for 40mm CTAS automatic weapon systems, mounted on EBRC Jaguar, Rapidfire and Ajax IFV.
Thanks to its telescoped design, the 40mm CTA offers compactness, ease of handling and lethality.
Despite their reduced size when compared to conventional 40mm rounds, the 40mm CTA ammunition range offers excellent terminal effect against a wide spectrum of targets, with the APFSDS-T and its best in class armor penetration, the GPR-PD and GPR-AB increased explosive payload size, or the A3B and its airburst capabilities.
The 40mm CTA represents a major technical advantage for modern armored vehicles and turrets.
