Versatile system carrier platform, reliable and mission-proven
The DINGO 2 Battle Damage Repair/Maintenance Crew is a mobile, highly protected workshop based on the mission-proven DINGO series. Together with the system maintenance sergeant, it is used to maintain or restore mobility of damaged and broken-down vehicles. The reduced safety cell provides sufficient room for up to three soldiers, incl. weapon operator, and stowage space for the necessary command and radio systems, as well as the stowage of personal equipment.
The unprotected functional structure contains the extensive array of tools in a convenient work environment. A hydraulically driven 6 kVA generator (230 V) provides the necessary power supply for the tools. By anchoring tarpaulins, the cargo superstructure with the lifting roof extended can be converted into a weather-protected work station in very little time.
Possible armament: remote-controlled weapon station in calibre 7.62 or 12.7mm
