Versatile system carrier platform, reliable and mission-proven

Medics’ most important tasks include the fastest possible rescue of wounded soldiers on the battlefield, performing first-aid, and then providing suitable medical care. In doing so, they often risk their own lives under enemy fire.

The various ambulance versions of the DINGO 2 make a decisive contribution towards improving protected casualty transport.

Based on the DINGO 2 chassis, the Ambulance and Emergency Vehicles are adapted to the respective customer’s requirements and reflect the various strategies for rescuing and providing medical care for casualties. The ambulance vehicles and other members of the DINGO family have the same level of protection and mobility as comparable combat vehicles, both on difficult terrain and under adverse combat conditions.

Furthermore, all Ambulance and Emergency Vehicles are designed with a continuous safety cell to facilitate communication between the driver and medical area, provide the crew in the rear with orientation through the large windscreen and enable access from one area to the other in case of emergency.

Stretcher system

The smooth-running stretcher loading system enables the rapid loading and unloading of two casualties.

Workspace

The protected, continuous large-capacity safety cell with high headroom simplifies communication between driver and crew area and facilitates the work of the medical personnel.

Stowage compartment

The side panels contain additional stowage space, e.g. for snow chains.

Mobility

Like all other DINGO 2 vehicles, the DINGO 2 Ambulance Vehicle also enables fording to a depth of 1,200 mm without preparation.

Its innovative safety concept provides its occupants with the greatest possible protection from anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, IEDs, small arms and shrapnel from artillery and mortar shells. The DINGO 2 also offers protection from NBC warfare agents as a standard feature.
