Versatile system carrier platform, reliable and mission-proven
The DINGO 6x6 is capable of recovering and towing damaged vehicles in the 14 t weight class under combat conditions without wasting time. As the first vehicle in the DINGO 2 family, the 6x6 version is equipped with a hydraulic 10 t recovery winch with planetary gear, multi-plate clutch, as well as a cable brake and towing device.
Unlike conventional recovery vehicles, its compact size and high mobility allow it to follow patrols and convoys in deployment zones without trouble.

As a highly modern wheeled vehicle, the DINGO 2 is not only ideally equipped for diverse mission profiles and extreme terrain conditions, but also for a long and cost-effective service life. The militarised Unimog chassis reduces training and instruction effort for drivers and mechanics. The low-maintenance, robust diesel engine is also an economic advantage. Furthermore, the KNDS Deutschland customer service offers worldwide vehicle service – even directly in the deployment zone – and assists in spare part supply. This ensures that vehicles will be at full performance capability at all times.
3rd axle
The special 6x6 chassis based on the Unimog is logistically identical to the chassis of the DINGO 2 U5000, is very well suited to off-road travel and features additional gear reduction for difficult recovery and towing operations.
Stowage options
The vehicle provides stowage options for function-specific equipment and spare parts.
Personnel protection
The vehicle is based on the DINGO 2 Pickup and is largely identical to the safety cell and its installations. The protected safety cell can be equipped for a crew of two or three.
Power
The 6x6 vehicle is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz diesel engine with 163 kW and 810 Nm of torque.
