With more than 1,200 systems in use by ten nations, it is one of the most successful land systems of its class.
Versatile system carrier platform, reliable and mission-proven
As a mission vehicle, the DINGO 2 CP provides enough stowage space to carry the personal equipment of six soldiers. There is room for helmets, protective gear, weapons and more in mine-proof holders.
The DINGO 2 CP is armed with a remote-controllable gun mount. The gunner sits in the safety cell and operates the weapon station via monitor and control lever.
The driver's station is identical to that of the other DINGO 2.
The vehicle commander is stationed at the passenger seat, which is fitted with a tablet PC and the transmitting and receiving sets installed on mine-proof mountings.
The communication equipment can be used during travel by the commander and to some extent on three additional spaces at the rear of the vehicle. Once the DINGO 2 CP has reached its deployment site, these devices are set up in the vehicle completely. The shelves are removed from the stowage bags and fastened to their respective mounting. The notebooks are started up, resulting in three command stations with IT and radio equipment at the highest stage of expansion.
Radio sets in all frequency ranges provide ideal voice and data communication and enable outstanding interoperability. Integrated antenna masts can be mounted and anchored in stationary operation to the front bumper, to one of the rear stowage compartments and/or to the side of the vehicle. The antennas installed on them have an improved range thanks to an extended elevation of up to 10 m.
If the vehicle is to accommodate a larger crew, the vehicle can be networked further using an external interface on the safety cell and its range of functions can be provided for additional stations in buildings, tents or outdoors.
Work material such as map holders, flipcharts, folder shelves and writing utensils are on board and can be stowed in mine-proof storage places during travel.

The rear stowage boxes supplement the extensive stowage spaces inside the safety cell.
The all-wheel drive Unimog chassis boasts first-class mobility properties. Run-flat rings maintain mobility even after tire damage.
The vehicle can be equipped with a remote-controlled weapon station from KNDS Deutschland or a third-party supplier.
Large-capacity safety cell with continuous driver and crew compartment with integration of a wide variety of equipment kits, components and command and control systems.
